Circulate the blood
This is a great set for general health and daily maintenance . It focuses on promoting circulation through the spine and hips.
before you start to practice the set be sure that you get into a relaxed and comfortable stance, drop your shoulders and let go of tension in your back and feel the weight of your upper body sinking into your feet. Then after you feel like you are nice and comfy gently start the movements
The more relaxed your body is the greater the effects of blood circulation you will get. It has a different effect than stretching -because stretching reduces pressure on the joints by relieving muscle tension, where as Qigong therapeutic exercises (or meditative exercises) literally promote circulation through the joints and tissues.
